Task description:Today I wrote a story using a story starter my teacher has written for my literacy class.In my story it was about a boy who went to a lantern festival and found a lantern who was calling out to him.Then he started touching it and it opened up and he was stuck in a power to control peoples dreams.One day he found a monster in one of the children’s dreams and the weirdest things started happening.He woke up realizing all of it was a dream but as he woke up and got ready to go to a lantern festival,where he found a lantern calling his name.

Task description:Today I wrote a story with a story starter my teacher prepared for my literacy class.My story is about two siblings exploring their attic and finds a snow globe, when they shook it it turns out they get stuck in the snow globe.They figure out to escape and it is by finding the snow globe and shaking it again to leave.

Task description:Today I wrote a narrative about Christmas.My teacher came me some story starters and I chose The mysterious gift.In my story I made it about a girl that found a present under her tree and thought it was a prank so she left it there but that night she had a scary dream about santa and she woke up.Realizing it was just a dream she went to her living room where she found santa and realized that it was his present and he was quitting his job and never doing Christmas again.

Task description:Today I wrote a story with a prompt.While I was looking at the prompt I realized that most of my stories ended happily,so why not a twist?I don’t really feel like it is my BEST writing because of how I rushed it but I kind of enjoy the storyline and the situation my main character is in.I feel like it isn’t really realistic,like my characters in my story wasn’t really saying realistic things.In conclusion I am pretty sure this is my worst writing I have ever made but I kind of like the storyline but it is really obvious that it was rushed.

On a fine Friday morning,room 10’s literacy class made jelly and we got to eat it.I sat on the mat as I waited for my teacher’s instructions.My teacher called up two students to go and help get the jelly from the fridge.My classmates got back,but this time carrying a box filled with containers of jelly.My teacher pulled out the containers and made sure to keep them in alphabetical order to assure that people get their container and not get mixed up.My teacher called my flavour of jelly and my teacher even let us get marshmallow on top.My flavour was lemonade and it tasted so good because it tasted sweet but still had a sour taste.

Task description:Today I wrote a recount about when we made Jelly.I had to pour in the Jelly powder,pour in hot water,mix it well and wait for it to dissolve and lastly put it in the fridge and wait for it to set.

Task description:Today I made slime in class for writing.I had to make a recount right after.I learned new words to use in my writing about time.Also I remembered to use the who? what? when? where? and why?

Task description:Today in class we had a discussion on how to write instructions on how to make slime.I had to write the instructions and just write what my classmates said.In the end my teacher added too much activator resulting in it being dry and not able to stretch out.

Task description:Today I wrote a recount about the Immersion Assembly at the start of the term.I learned lots of words as I was scrambling through my dictionary and decided to use some of them like “Rendezvous” which mean a gathering or a meet up spot.

Task description:Today I had a writing task where you have to write a recipe for hot chocolate.I had to remember to be precise with my method.I had to pretend like I’m actually doing it,so when I use the recipe it turns out good.
